oh crap
A new book has just come out.
So I guess I’m really going to have to think of a new title for my book, huh?
Meanwhile, if you want to read someone else’s Plan C here’s the link.
Good luck to her. And – awesome cover design. I love the red wine stain.

Jocelyn, I cannot tell you how much this comment means to me. Thank you SO much. I’m really very grateful as I’ve been having a bit of an attack of the doubts lately. Will return to the editing with renewed enthusiasm and optimism now. xxx
btw Trish, because I am always looking for something to read I thought I’d read this other Plan C. Hmm whatever you do keep on going with your story whatever the name ends up as, because after reading this Plan C, then comparing it to your DRAFT Plan C I can say in all honesty and without bias – yours is better!!
I couldn’t wait for your next chapter to pop up on the blog, and I sat and read each chapter quick as a flash before waiting impatiently for the next. Lois Cahalls’ Plan C was not like that at all. I found it long winded, too try hard, I felt no empathy for the main character, couldn’t relate to the situations, in fact all of the characters felt two dimensional and I would go so far as to say many characters were just plain unlikeable, vapid, selfish and lacking realism. At times it was as if the author was trying for a bit of Sex in the City vibe at times and fell far far short.
I usually finish a book within a week, this one took me three weeks, in fact I put it down and read three other books between the start and finish because I was so uninspired. So keep grooming your draft, because I can honestly say I never once felt that way while reading your story.
The end
Crap! I’m sure you’ll come up with something even better, but its still sucky
That damn ho-bag stole your title!
(you have to say that last sentence in the worst sort of southern accent you can muster)
So, on to Plan D?
What a bummer. But I’m sure you’ll think of something else that’s even better! x
That is a cool cover – very Bridgette Jones’ Diary. I know you’ll come up with something even more brilliant.
Oh Crap! But, you’re still in the drafting stages and I’m sure your manuscript adviser will give you some good points on choosing a new title. Chin up Chickie!
